Barack Obama Is Cool with Drake Playing Him in a Movie One Day
Former U.S. president Barack Obama has given Drake his blessing to play him in a movie, should the opportunity arise.

Speaking with Complex News host Speedy Morman on 360 earlier today, the pair talked for an hour about various topics, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Donald Trump, defunding the police and COVID-19, among other, more light-hearted topics.

Towards the end of the interview, Morman asked the former U.S. president if he would give his blessing to Drake in the event that the former Degrassi star was offered a role to play him in a movie.

"Drake seems to be able to do anything he wants," Obama responded. "I mean, that is a talented, talented brother. If the time comes and he's ready... Drake, more importantly, has my household's stamp of approval. I suspect Malia and Sasha would be just fine with it."

Previously, Drake had reportedly told Paper that his "goal" would be to take on that acting role someday.

"I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama's life soon because I could play him," Drake said. "If you ask anyone who knows me, I'm pretty good at impressions."
