Hunting Deliver Crafty New Video for Cover of Sparklehorse's "Gold Day"
Vancouver indie-rock outfit Hunting are gearing up for the release of their upcoming album, Whatever You Need, and the band are preparing fans with a new music video for their cover of Sparklehorse's "Gold Day."

The Canadian trio are almost unrecognizable from the band who released their debut five years ago, moving from a solo project to a trio, from folk to electro-rock and from melancholic tones to bright instrumentation.

Hunting provided a statement about the video's meaning and why they chose the stop motion animation style they did for the new clip.

"The video for 'Gold Day' was done in stop motion animation style and draws on the lyrics, animal imagery and real life history of Sparklehorse. The sets and video were created by Hunting band member Jessicka as a tribute to one of our greatest heroes, Mark Linkous."

Whatever You Need arrives November 1 via Nevado Music and can be pre-ordered here.
