Journey Reunite with Randy Jackson for Virtual "Don't Stop Believin'" Performance
After firing drummer Steve Smith and bassist Ross Valory earlier this year, Journey have reunited in a virtual performance with their new lineup — including their former session musician, TV personality and recording artist Randy Jackson, who had previously played with the band in the late '80s.

Appearing on UNICEF's COVID-19 relief benefit stream, the new lineup performed the band's classic 1981 track "Don't Stop Believin'" via isolation livestream.

"Journey is an ever-changing unstoppable force," founding member Neal Schon wrote on Twitter earlier today, "This is a completely new chapter for us and can't wait to get to it!"

Journey were scheduled to head out on a world tour later this year. Due to the ongoing pandemic, they have, of course, cancelled the entire run. The new lineup was meant to debut on the trek.
