Lizzo has unloaded a heated message for fatphobic trolls that insist on continuing to make comments about her weight.

In a powerful new TikTok video, the singer took direct aim at body shamers, telling people to mind their business when it comes to what other people eat, how they exercise and how healthy they are, reaffirming that weight has nothing to do with a person's value.

In the clip, Lizzo said:

So I've been working out consistently for the last five years. And it may come as a surprise to some of y'all that I'm not working out to have your ideal body type. I'm working out to have my ideal body type. And you know what type that is? None of your fucking business. Because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job and I stay on my job.

So next time you want to come to somebody and judge them — whether they drink kale smoothies or eat McDonalds or work out or not work out — how 'bout you look at your own fucking self and worry about your own goddamn body. Because health is not just determined on what you look like on the outside. Health is also what happens on the inside, and a lot of y'all need to do a fucking cleanse for your insides. Namaste, have a great day.

Earlier this year, celebrity trainer and former coach on The Biggest Loser Jillian Michaels got called out for her body-shaming comments about Lizzo. At the time, Michaels was accused of fatphobia when she suggested that no one should be celebrating Lizzo's body because "it isn't gonna be awesome if she gets diabetes."

Lizzo released her breakthrough album, Cuz I Love You, back in 2019. The record earned her a number of accolades including three Grammy Awards.
