Published Nov 29, 2016After spending the last 10 years on the roster at Fat Wreck Chords in the U.S., Toronto punk four-piece the Flatliners have announced their signing to Rise Records ahead of a new album next year.
The news came through the band's Facebook page yesterday (November 28), with the group expressing excitement in starting the next chapter of their career. The band's label home here in Canada will remain Dine Alone Records.
"We're excited to announce that we have signed to Rise Records and will have a new album out in early 2017!" the band wrote. "As we take this new leap, we're looking forward to the future and we invite you to join us. Whether you've been with us since the beginning, or you've just discovered our music, thank you all for having our backs and for allowing us to do what we do. Music is always something to be shared, and we're gonna keep real busy next year sharing ours with you!"
The Flatliners' last LP came in 2013 with Dead Language, which was nominated for a 2014 Juno Award in the Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year category. Recently, they delivered the two-track Nerves EP through Dine Alone.
