Toronto rocker Vivienne Wilder is set to release new EP postromantic this Friday (June 12), and she's shared the new single "Jimmy" with an accompanying video.

Much like the rest of the EP's songs, the track finds Wilder singing about an ill-fated romance atop a pop-rock backdrop. In a statement about "Jimmy," Wilder says, "It's a sort of Bonnie & Clyde story where ultimately the lovers must separate or perish."

The video channels the song's throwback touchstones by adopting a similarly vintage approach, with its RCA television backdrop, VCR tuning, lens flares, kitschy sunglasses, brick walls and handheld cameras recalling the golden age of music videos from the '80s and '90s.

Watch the "Jimmy" video below ahead of postromantic release on Friday.
