Blue Rodeo, Skydiggers, the Sadies and Oh Susanna Team Up for Toronto Show
Cancon fans are in for a treat in Toronto this summer. Blue Rodeo have just unveiled plans for a special show featuring a lineup full of revered Canadian talent.
The long-running roots rockers will headline a show at the Budweiser Stage on August 19, and they'll be joined by sets from Skydiggers, the Sadies and Oh Susanna.
A press release promises a "unique festival atmosphere," and tickets to the event for on sale this Friday (May 12). They range in price from $20 lawn seats to $89.50, and will be available here.
Blue Rodeo's latest album, 1000 Arms, was released last fall, and today they are showing off the new video "I Can't Hide This Anymore" from that album.

The clip was directed by Shelby Fenlon, who said in a statement: "It was surreal to shoot with Blue Rodeo. I love that such an established band was willing to take a risk on a young director and lo-fi video concept.  They were up for pretty much everything — except the pink bedazzled suit — and there were a lot of laughs on the set."

The band's Jim Cuddy added, "We have made many videos and it is difficult to get these old dogs riled up. This video not only got us excited to see the footage but we all liked the way we looked so much, we adopted it for the stage. Fun, creative and energizing. Wonderful director and crew."

You can watch the video for "I Can't Hide This Anymore" play out at the bottom of the page, where you can also see Blue Rodeo's other upcoming tour dates this summer.

Meanwhile, Skydiggers covered the work of Gene Clark for Here Without You in 2016, the Sadies released Northern Passages earlier this year, and Oh Susanna will put out A Girl in Teen City later this month.
