Caveboy "Monochrome" (video)

Caveboy 'Monochrome' (video)
Last fall, Montreal dream popsters Caveboy released their self-titled debut EP. Now they've given "Monochrome" from that same release the video treatment, and Exclaim! has your exclusive first look at the new clip.
The song's whimsical synths and airy melodies get paired with a jarring sequence of flashing frames directed by Amit Kehar. The shots show glimpses of the band against sparse blue and white backgrounds, but bright lights, creative make-up courtesy of Carly Salzman, and surrealist effects add more than enough visual intrigue to keep the eyes busy.
"We wanted this final piece of the video series to focus on abstract visual representations of the song's lyrics, which express the fears connected to growth and aging," the band tell Exclaim!
Watch that sentiment translate to the screen by watching the video for "Monochrome" below.

You can also keep an ear out for the band's new track "Color War" in the fourth season of Orange Is the New Black, which hits Netflix today (June 17).
