Junior Boys "Big Black Coat" (video)

Junior Boys 'Big Black Coat' (video)
Hamilton, ON electro duo Junior Boys returned with a new LP called Big Black Coat earlier this month, and now they've shared some visuals for the album's title track.
The clip is a super-stimulating hodgepodge of trippy visual effects, serving up spirals and geometric patterns that move and morph to the beat of the song. The clip was directed by Tim Saccenti, who took his cues from other works of experimental video art.
"It evolved from mine and the band's mutual love for early analog video and experimental film art, industrial techno, and the audio/visual performances of seminal DIY electronic band the Severed Heads," Saccenti said in a press release. "Following the beauty and driving movement of the track, I wanted to create a piece of emotional innocence to run through the grinder of distortion."
Give the video a watch in the player below, then head over here to read our interview with the band from this month's issue of Exclaim!
